Education
Training & Empowerment
We conduct free skill-enhancement programs to help migrants grow in their careers and achieve personal development.
We have completed 4th batches of training for our migrant brothers and sisters from Bangladesh, India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and China.
Recently, Migrant Matter organized the Responder for Resilience Programme (MayโJune 2024) in collaboration with the Singapore Red Cross. This free training, valued at over $500, equips participants with essential skills and prepares them for volunteering as First Aiders or ElderAid volunteers with the Red Cross, helping to build a resilient community.
As a Red Cross volunteer, members gain access to diverse training programs that not only prepare them for volunteering roles but also contribute to their personal growth and development.
This 4-day program includes the following sponsored courses:
Standard First Aid + AED (2 days)
Psychological First Aid (1 day)
Befriending (1 day)
